Lagos BeachWe asked Georgina to answer a few questions about herself:

When did you first get into photography?
I first got into photography in high school where art and photography classes were definitely a refuge for me.

Goats in Girona SpainWhat’s your favorite travel destination and why?
I tend to gravitate towards any place that has a beach and warm weather. However, Barcelona, and the whole region of Catalunya, has had a huge impact on me in the last few years, so I’d like to keep exploring Spain in general.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done while traveling?
While I was in Japan, I got very sick and had to navigate the subway system of Tokyo, not to mention the city itself, on my own. Tokyo is laid out in such a way that I’m pretty sure it’s meant to get you lost forever. Being ill and unable to communicate made for a pretty disturbing experience.

Women in Cusco, PeruWhat’s the most beautiful thing you’ve seen while traveling?
The Algarve coast of Southern Portugal is incredibly stunning and beyond anything I’ve seen before. I also find the people of a particular country I’m traveling in to be incredibly beautiful.

Llama at Machu PicchuWhat locale would you never return to?
I honestly can’t say there’s been a single place I’ve intentionally traveled to where I wouldn’t want to go back.

Is there anything else you want people to know about you?
I sort of love that awkward feeling one gets when traveling and being immersed in a new and unknown culture.
